AXA IM Names New Head of Structured Finance

AXA Investment Managers (IM) has appointed Laurent Gueunier as head of AXA Structured Finance after eight years of his leading the corporate credit team, the company said Monday.
He will take over the position from Pierre-Emmanuel Juillard on Oct. 15. Based in Paris, Gueunier will oversee a team of 70 who manage over €34 billion in assets in the areas of corporate credits, leveraged loans, ABS, CDOs, multi-management and Insurance-Linked Securities (cat bonds).
Gueunier will report to AXA IM CEO Dominique Carrel-Billiard. Juillard is moving to Asia to work for Goldman Sachs.
